  1. I have been gay all my life. I married my wife at 21 and we were together for 32 years and had three kids.
She had known I was gay for the last 17 years, I finally took the courage to end the marriage 6 weeks ago to follow the path of a gay man.
I am an hour from Manchester and I feel lost and lonely.

    1. Hello Paul,

Do come along one Wednesday to see us, we’d love to chat about how the group might be of use to you.

A lot of our service users attend feeling exactly the same as you do.

      Hope to see you soon,

      Andy

    2. I sympathise. I’m a similar age and know the times and cultural changes you have lived through.

I’m not sure if I’m gay, bi or just lost. I have spent the past 15 years trying to work this out, and haven’t finished searching myself yet. My children have grown, and I now live on my own – so finally I have some time to think.

Well done, you are very brave.

    3. I’ve attended ice breakers in Manchester in the past. I can never attend Wednesday classes as I’m needed elsewhere. But would be great full if you could either tell me when other group meets take place. I. E events. Regards. Mark

  2. I’m struggling to finally come out as a homosexual even though I know I must – tried social media and only convinced people who either knew already or didn’t care. Those who REALLY matter still don’t know. And I’m in the wrong town!

  3. Hello all,
I’m new to Manchester and have recently come out to my sister – it didn’t go down well. My friends and work colleagues all know but the rest of my family is in the dark.
I’m nervous but want to attend an Ice Breakers session – hopefully today.
    Thanks
    Ray
